The Esseles
Level: Low-level Republic Flashpoint (8-13)
Location: Republic Fleet
Encounters:
Lieutenant Isric
Ironfist
ISS-7 Guardian Battledroid
ISS-994 Power Droid
Lord Vokk

Crew Skill Shortcuts:
There are no shortcuts or alternate paths that can be reached by using Crew skills in The Esseles.

Bosses:

Lieutenant Isric
Lieutenant Isric is the first boss in the Esseles. Isric summons melee adds from time to time, and does a conal aoe blaster attack.

Tips/Tricks:
Because of heal aggro, and lack of threat reduction at low levels, the summoned adds tend to attack the healer, so keep an eye out for this, and make sure they get burned down fast.

Ironfist
Ironfist is the second boss in the Esseles. Ironfist also spawns adds throughout the fight, and while they don't need to be tanked, they should be burned down quickly. Ironfist's other abilities consist of an aoe knockback that will hit everyone, and Missile Salvo, which fires missiles around the room that land inside the blue reticules that appear on the ground under them.

Tips/Tricks:
This is a rather simple fight, as long as players can watch out for the blue projected texture under their feet. Burn the adds when they're up, and healers should keep everyone topped off in case they get knocked back into a Missile Salvo.

ISS-7 Guardian Battledroid
This fight is a simple tank and spank, with the boss occasionally dropping aggro and picking a new target.

Videos:

Tips/Tricks:
The boss will aggro a new target from time to time, but this shouldn't be too hard to manage, the healer just needs to switch to this new target, and the boss will go down quick enough.

ISS-994 Power Droid

The ISS-944 Power Droid is the bonus boss of the Esseles flashpoint. To get it to spawn, your party will need to click two computer on opposite sides of the room at the same time.
The Power droid will occasionally buff his own damage output, increasing the damage dealt to his primary target, and dealing damage to anyone within 4m of him.

Tips/Tricks:
When the boss glows purple/crackles with lighting, start kiting the boss. He will chase you, but his movement speed is reduced during this phase, so it should be easy to outrun him.

Lord Vokk
Lord Vokk is the final fight of the Esseles flashpoint. Vokk's abilities consist of an AoE knock back, a lightsaber throw, force choke, and force lighting, which is an AoE ability similar to the missiles Ironfist uses.

Videos:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoxFj0R54...r_embedded (4:08)

Tips/Tricks:
The real key to this fight is a healer who can think quickly. Between the knockback, the saber throw, and force choke, there is a lot of non-preventable, non-tankable damage. While Force Lighting can, and should, be avoided, the healer will still have to focus on watching their energy regen, and making sure everyone has enough HP to take a saber throw without warning.

RE: The Esseles
Pretty easy FP as well. In the Thanksgiving Beta, I ran it with 1 tank/3 dps. Went swimmingly. Group was Jedi Guardian tank (me), Jedi Sentinel, Jedi Guardian DPS, Smuggler dps.

RE: The Esseles
I was tanking this at level 15, my girlfriend (Jedi Sage) was healing at level 15. We bought along 2x level 10s for fun. Had zero trouble with the Flashpoint at all, naturally, as it's designed for lower levels. Was still fun and gave good rewards for the 'lowbies' and still a good DS/LS choice.
And surprisingly, very fun boss mechanics. Pre-Operation training in the 1st instance of the game? ME GUSTA!

RE: The Esseles
Can anyone contribute to the HardMode version of this Flashpoint? As if, are there any differences/gimmicks to know?

RE: The Esseles
1th boss, ignore the adds (as in dont single target them) you will need to heal through it
stack on the tank if you need to, the boss needs to take damage from any aoe attacks you do

otherwise your gona get an enrage almost certainly, its pretty tight at about 2 minutes

2th boss needs two interrupts, easy otherwise

3rd and forth boss are basicly tank and spank, 4th just move out of the aoe when it appears at his feet

last boss is needs reasonable dps and a bit of health, since the lightning he casts can hit quite hard and are occasionally unavoidable no matter how fast you are
his lightsaber throw can be cast twice in un-healably quick succession, killing somebody
sage healers should have shields up at all times on this boss, it negates most shenanigans he can do

RE: The Esseles
Working on hard mode:

First boss is not too hard, but you must range-tank him. If the tank is in range, he will knock-down/stun the tank and do a lot of damage, not just to the tank but the whole group. It the tank is >4m away from the boss, this is not very difficult, just remember to kill the adds.

Second boss (Ironfist) is quite tough:
- His headshot hits for ~12k on a shadow tank with 5700ish armour - it MUST be interrupted. He can cast it about every 4 seconds. We used a Sentinel and I (Shadow tank) for interrupts.
- The missile salvo hits for 1800ish, and *cannot be avoided*, it also cannot be out-ranged. Best option for that appeared to be sit in a group and eat AOE Heals. We also had good luck with tanking him in a group in the corner, so his knock-backs weren't as much of an issue.
- Adds were a non-issue. We tanked him at the base of the stairs where you enter the bridge, and they didn't bother us much.
- His enrage is also quite short - this fight is both a dps check and about coordinating interrupts.

Will update with the other fights as we get to them
