[DAILY] Pure Virus Sample

Hello this is Masterkiller from MMO-Mechanics and I’m going to walk you through the [DAILY]  Pure Virus Sample quest chain which appeared on April 18. If you see anything missing or any incorrect information please drop me a comment so I can update the guide.

How to pickup the quest
You will need to have completed Hybrid Strain the previous day. If you meet the conditions for unlocking this quest, head to the Wreck of the Stardream in the northern Dune Sea. Far to the west side of the wreckage you will see a datapad which will provide the new quest.

This requirement description was submitted by Fon-fon and could help you out if you don’t see the quest available. It appears you must have done Blood Sample the previous day:
You need to have done Blood Sample the previous day and picked the Dark side option to infect sand people instead of cure them. This unlocks being able to do the Daily Hybrid Strain. The next day when I went back to the wreck of the stardream, I was able to pick up the Daily Pure Virus Sample.

What to do:
You will need to head to Rennar Outpost if you are Imperial or Largona for Republic. Check your map, there will be a building you will head into. In the building you will need to investigate 6 suspicious containers. Some will be in the open, some you may need to jump onto a box to investigate.

When you scan the item, there is a chance that you will be attacked by some angry wookies.

Once you have scanned all 6 boxes you will complete the mission. Head to your taxi and take it to your drop box location. This mission provides 2 Rakghoul DNA Samples and your choice of 1 Rakghoul DNA Sample or the Republic Containment Officer Helmet if you are Republic and Imperial Containment Officer Helmet if you are Empire..

I have one character of each class both light and dark side… I have experimented personally with them on this… and I do apologize for not finishing my personal tests with my jedi and sith… with my agent and smuggler I work at keeping them neutral force aligned so I am always balancing them out, with my trooper and bounter hunter I choose the path based on my personal ideal for each character and with my jedi I always choose light and with my sith I always choose dark….

With both the agent and smuggler you can unlock the mission in only two days by taking light side one day, dark the next and as soon as you go to collect the wrappings after either infecting them further (dark side) or curing them (light side) you already get the mission on the second day…

If you however choose the same path twice, then it will take you the third day … either light or dark path on the third day will yield the same result. So if you want to stay always light path, or always dark path it will take you three days, but if you choose one day one path and the next day the dark path, you can already get the Hybrid Strain.
