I. Profession overview As with other carryover professions from the original Guild Wars, the Warrior shares many similarities with its predecessor, able to become offensive juggernauts and apply high damage strikes to foes. Warriors also have support capabilities with shouts and debuffs that can aid their allies and demoralize the opponent. II. Archetype The Warrior is a melee DPS class, and is part of the soldier category, wearing heavy armor. a. Unique ability The Warrior has an adrenaline bar that will charge every time they attack. There are three levels of adrenaline that can be stored, and each weapon will have a burst weapon skill that will use stored up adrenaline to unleash a potentially devastating attack. Higher levels of adrenaline storage will increase the damage or benefit of the burst skill. b. Unique stat Brawn is the unique stat for the Warrior. It increases the damage or benefit of their burst skills. III. Weapons and skills Below is a list of weapons the Warrior will use.
Below is a list of skills tied to each weapon. Note that a two-handed weapon grants five skills (1-5 on the skill bar), a one-handed weapon grants three skills (1-3 on the skill bar), and off-handed weapons grant two skills (4 and 5 on the skill bar) Greatsword

IV. Traits The Warrior has five trait lines to choose from; Strength, Arms, Defense, Tactics, and Discipline. Below is a list of each trait and the benefits they grant. Strength Traits Strength per point: +10 Power +1 Expertise Minor Adept Reckless Dodge Damage foes at the end of a dodge roll. Master Death From Above Damage and knock back enemies when you take falling damage. Grandmaster Building Momentum Using a burst skill restores endurance. Major Axe Mastery 5% damage while wielding an axe. Berserker's Power 2-5% damage based on how much adrenaline you have built. Physical Mastery Recharge on physical utility skills is reduced by 20%. Physical Training Physical utility skills deal more damage. Powerful Banners Your banners do damage when summoned. Slashing Power Increased greatsword and spear damage. Tidal Spear Gain swiftness on crits with a spear. Weapon Specialization +5% damage while wielding an axe, mace or sword in your offhand. Arms Traits Arms per point: +10 Precision +10 Malice Minor Adept Precise Strikes 33% chance to cause bleeding on crit. Master Critical Burst Burst skills have an increased crit chance. Grandmaster Rending Strikes 33% chance to cause vulnerability on crit. Major Attack of Opportunity Deal extra damage to a bleeding foe. Blademaster Increased crit chance with sword. Deep Cuts Bleeds you apply last 50% longer. Last Chance Gain Frenzy at 25% health; only activates once every 90 seconds. Marksman Increased damage with harpoon gun or rifle. Sniper Rifle shots penetrate. Sundering Greatsword Cause vulnerability on crit with a greatsword. Unsuspecting Foe 50% crit chance versus stunned enemies. Defense Traits Defense per point: +10 Toughness +10 Compassion Minor Adept Vigorous Return Increased health on rally. Master Embrace the Pain Gain adrenaline when hit. Grandmaster Armored Attack 10% of toughness is converted to power. Major Adrenal Health Regenerate health based on adrenaline level. Blunt Weapon Master 15% reduced cooldown with hammer and mace skills. Cull the Weak Increased damage to weakened foes. Last Stand Gain stability when health hits 25%. Merciless Hammer Improved hammer critical chance when foe is knocked down. Missile Deflection Reflect missiles whenever you are blocking. Shield Master Increased armor while using a shield. Shrug it Off Endure Pain at 25% health. Sundering Mace Chance to cause weakness on crit with a mace. Sure-footed Increased stance duration. Thick Skin Extra armor when health is above 90%. Turtle's Defense Gain armor bonus when crippled, stunned, immobilized or frozen. Tactics Traits Tactics per point: +10 Vitality +1 Concentration Minor Adept Determined Revival Gain extra armor while reviving. Master Fast Healer Increased revive speed. Grandmaster Empower Allies Nearby allies do extra damage. Major Burning Arrows Deal extra damage with a longbow against burning foes. Desperate Power Do extra damage when health is under 25%. Empowered Gain extra damage for every boon on you. Inspiring Banners Banners apply buffs to a larger area. Inspiring Shouts Gain adrenaline when using a shout. Leg Specialist Crippling a target with a skill immobilizes the target for 1 second. Lung Capacity 20% faster shout cooldown. Quick Breathing 15% faster warhorn cooldown. Stronger Bowstrings Increased longbow range. Vigorous Shouts Shouts heal. Discipline Traits Discipline per point: +1 Prowess +1 Brawn Minor Adept Versatile Rage Gain adrenaline when swapping weapons Master Fast Hands Reduce weapon swap cool down Grandmaster Versatile Power Gain the Might boon when swapping weapons. Major Adrenal Reserves Reduced burst-skill adrenaline cost Heightened Focus Improved critical chance for each full level of adrenaline Mobile Strikes Movement skills break out of the Immobilize condition Quick Bursts Reduced burst-skill recharge time Sharpened Axes Gain adrenaline when inflicting a critical hit with an axe skill Signet Mastery Signets recharge 25% faster. Sweet Revenge Chance to rally whenever killing an enemy while under the effects of Vengeance Thrill of the Kill Gain adrenaline whenever killing an enemy Warrior's Sprint Increased movement speed while wielding a melee weapon |
